Terms of Use for Heybits

These Terms of Use govern your use of Heybits, including the iOS, Android, watch, widget, and related app experiences.

By using Heybits, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. App Purpose

Heybits helps users track habits, counters, check-ins, streaks, reminders, widgets, and related personal progress information.

Heybits is provided for personal productivity and habit-tracking purposes only. It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or professional advice.

2. Accounts and Sign-In

Some features may require signing in with a supported account provider, such as Google or Apple.

You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and for any activity associated with it. If you lose access to your sign-in provider, you may lose access to synced data connected to that account.

3. User Data

You may create counters, check-ins, habit names, reminders, colors, widget preferences, and other app content.

You are responsible for the content you create. Do not use Heybits to store unlawful, harmful, abusive, or sensitive information that you are not authorized to store.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

Heybits may offer paid features, subscriptions, or one-time purchases. Paid plans may include features such as unlimited counters, cloud sync, and an ad-free experience.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage subscriptions through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.

5. Restore Purchases

If you purchased premium features, you may restore eligible purchases using the restore option in the app, provided you are using the same platform account.

6. Refunds

Refunds are handled by the platform where the purchase was made (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).

7. Notifications and Reminders

Notification delivery depends on device settings and platform limitations. We do not guarantee that reminders will always be delivered at the exact selected time.

8. Widgets

Widget display depends on platform support and background update limitations. Widget data may not always update instantly.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer the app, interfere with its security, or use it for any unlawful purposes.

10. Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of Heybits at any time, including features and pricing.

11. No Warranty

Heybits is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use or inability to use the app.

13. Third-Party Services

Heybits uses services like Firebase and Google Sign-In. Your use of those services is also governed by their respective terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend access if you violate these Terms or if it creates a security risk.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
