By default, all habit data, logs, notes, and progress stats are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data unless you explicitly enable cloud synchronization.
B. Cloud Synchronization (Optional)
If you enable features such as iCloud Sync or Google Drive Backup, your data is encrypted and stored within your personal cloud account. Habit Tracker does not maintain its own servers to store your personal habit data.
C. Technical Data
We may collect minimal, non-personally identifiable technical data (such as device type, OS version, and crash reports) to improve app stability and performance.
2. Use of Information
We use the information collected to:
- Provide and maintain the Habit Tracker experience.
- Track your habit progress and generate analytics locally.
- Synchronize your data across your signed-in devices (if enabled).
- Monitor and analyze trends and usage to improve the "Minimalist Luxury" aesthetic and performance.

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Your habit rituals are yours alone.

4. Subscriptions and Payments
Habit Tracker may offer premium features via In-App Purchases. All payment processing is handled securely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect or store your credit card or financial information.
5. Children's Privacy
Habit Tracker is designed to be safe for all users. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your locally stored data and any encrypted cloud backups. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
7. Your Choices
You have full control over your data:
- Deletion: You can delete all your habit data at any time from within the app settings.
- Access: You can view all your stored metrics within the Stats and Heatmap dashboards.
- Permissions: You can control app permissions (Notifications, Haptics, etc.) via your device settings.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the app.

10. Device Permissions
To provide the 'Habit Tracker' experience, we may request access to the following device features:
- Motion & Fitness: Used to accurately track step-based habits and physical activities.
- Notifications: Used to deliver ritual reminders, progress alerts, and achievement celebrations.
- In-App Purchases: Used to manage premium subscriptions and feature unlocks securely via platform stores.
- Biometrics (Optional): If Safety Lock is enabled, we use local device authentication to secure your habit data.
